Q1 :  Can I enter the Museum more than once (with a multiple entrance)?
A1 :  On the day stated on your Museum ticket, you can enter the Museum as many times as you like. Please inform a Museum employee when you desire to leave the Museum; the employee will stamp the back of your hand with a colorless, transparent stamp. When you re-enter the Museum, a special lamp is used to confirm the stamp.

Q2 :  Is there a place where I can put my bags or other hand-held belongs during my visit at the Museum?
A2 :  Coin-return type lockers are available at the Museum. Suitcases and other large items that will not fit in a locker can be placed for safekeeping at the Museum Shop.

Q3 :  Are loans of wheelchairs or baby carriages (prams) available?
A3 :  There are 10 wheelchairs and 6 baby carriages (prams) available for loan at the Museum. Loans are made at the Basement 3rd floor Information Desk or at the Museum Shop. Baby carriages (prams) for each infant age range are available, so be sure to make inquiry for the proper carriage for your child/children. Also, since the Museum can be crowded on holidays and other special occasions, please make a reservation (date and time) prior to your visit to the Museum.

Q4 :  Is it possible to enjoy a visit to the Museum in a wheelchair?
A4 :  Yes, wheelchair access is available throughout the Museum and Museum grounds. Restrooms for disabled people are also found on each floor of the Museum. However, one must ride a long escalator after purchasing a ticket at the Museum Main Entrance. Wheelchair users are thus requested to first purchase a ticket at the Museum Main Entrance and to use the "Special Access Entranceway" to enter the Museum. Please request explanatory assistance from a Museum staff. For further details, please contact the Museum directly.

Q5 :  Are advance sale tickets and discount tickets available?
A5 :  Advance sale tickets are available at the Museum Ticket Desk (advance sale tickets become valid the day following their sale). Advance sale tickets are also sold at LAWSON store nationwide(purchase through in-store ticket booking machine "LOPPI" and make a payment at the store counter), the Koyama Jogakukan bookstore, located in front of the JR Tokushima Station, at the Naruto Tourist Information Center of Naruto City, and at the Fuji GRAND Kitajima Store in Kitajima Town. Although discount tickets are not available, a "Kyotsu-Ken" ("Joint Ticket") is available (for 3,300yen) that includes the Tokushima Prefecture "Uzu no Michi" (the "Whirlpool Promenade"). This ticket, which includes the entrance fee to the "Whirlpool Promenade" on the Ohnaruto Bridge, can be used from the time the Museum opens until 2 p.m.

Q6 :  How much time is required to view the Museum?
A6 :  The Museum route consists of walking approximately 4 kilometers while viewing the artworks. For further details, please consult the "Support for Your Museum Visit & Art Appreciation" section of this Internet site.

Q7 :  Is the famed natural tidal whirlpool in the Naruto Straits located near the Museum?
A7 :  You can reach the "Uzu no Michi" (the "Whirlpool Promenade"), located on the Ohnaruto Bridge and overlooking the tidal whirlpool, by a 10 to 15 minute walk along the "Shikoku Road" from the Museum. 5-minute walks will also take you, respectively, to two tourist ships for viewing the whirlpool, the "Uzushio Kisen" ("Tidal Whirlpool Steamship"), a small-sized seacraft, or the "Naruto Kankoh Kisen" ("Naruto Sightseeing Steamship"), a large-sized seacraft.

Q8 :  May I take photographs in the Museum?
A8 :  Personal, non-commercial photography without flash or tripod is permitted in the Museum.

Q9 :  Are taxis stationed at the Museum?
A9 :  Although there are no taxis stationed at the Museum, you may call a taxi, toll-free, from a public telephone provided inside the Museum. A taxi will arrive in 10 to 15 minutes. For Museum guests who are in a hurry, please reserve a taxi beforehand.

Q10 :  Are food and drinks (box lunches) permitted in the Museum?
A10 :  In principle, no outside food or drinks are permitted in the Museum. Please use the restaurant, café, or beverage corners provided within the Museum grounds.

Q11 :  Are small children allowed in the Museum?
A11 :  Preschool children should be accompanied by an adult, 1 adult per 3 children. As the Museum covers quite a broad area, please be sure that children stay near their guardian as they tour the Museum. If you need to breastfeed your baby during your visit, please contact the nearest Museum staff.

A12 :  Please refrain from bringing pets into the Museum.

A13 :  We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, JCB credit cards and Diners credit cards for admission tickets and museum shop purchases.
